The post-merger Korean Air (now absorbing Asiana) is investing heavily up front: Prestige Suites 2.0 on the new 787-10s adds sliding doors, wireless charging and 4K screens to a cabin that was already spotless and serenely crewed; the newer A350-900s carry the doorless staggered Prestige seat, so aircraft choice matters.
Incheon is the quiet weapon: same-terminal connections from about an hour that actually work, opening one-stop negotiated fares from most US gateways to Southeast Asia that regularly undercut nonstops by 30%+. The bibimbap remains the best signature dish in the sky.
