Etihad Airways business class review

Etihad's A380 First Apartment remains the most residential cabin in the sky, a private room with separate bed and armchair, while the Business Studio offers strong value on the airline's rebuilt premium network.

The verdict

Inside Business Studio

Etihad's post-restructuring product is quietly excellent: the A350 and 787 Business Studios are polished 1-2-1 suites, and the revived A380s bring back The Apartment, first class quarters with an actual leather armchair beside a separate 6'10" bed.

Abu Dhabi's new Zayed International terminal is a dramatic upgrade, and negotiated Etihad fares frequently undercut Emirates and Qatar on identical city pairs, making it the value play among the Gulf three.

  • A380 First Apartment, bed plus separate armchair
  • Polished Business Studio on A350/787
  • New Zayed International hub terminal
  • Frequently the best-priced Gulf carrier on negotiated fares

What people who fly Etihad Airways actually say

An honest fleet note from a repeat Etihad business flyer to Europe, which is why we confirm the aircraft on every leg:

The India to UAE leg is an older plan with a bad biz configuration, but after that it's killer.
