Emirates business class review

Emirates delivers the most theatrical premium experience flying: A380 onboard bars, shower spas in first class, chauffeur transfers, and a Dubai hub built around its lounges. Its 'game-changer' 777 first class suite is the industry's most private.

The verdict

Inside Business (A380 & 777)

No airline sells the dream like Emirates. The A380 business cabin feeds into an onboard lounge and bar at 40,000 feet; first class adds shower spas and floor-to-ceiling suite doors on the newest 777s. Chauffeur-drive service at both ends is included on most premium fares.

The catch: the A380 business seat itself (2-4-2 on older frames is gone, but the 1-2-1 remains angled around a large console) trails Qatar's Qsuite on pure seat metrics. Emirates wins on spectacle, lounges, and network breadth, 140+ destinations one stop from Dubai.

  • A380 onboard lounge and bar
  • First class shower spa on the A380
  • Complimentary chauffeur-drive in 70+ cities
  • Dubai T3 lounge complex, direct boarding from lounge
  • Unmatched one-stop network across six continents
